Movie at the Park

Dunedin Parks & Recreation presents “Movies in the Park” every Friday night in downtown Dunedin at Pioneer Park. Grab your blanket or chairs and enjoy an evening with your friends and family. Movies begins at dark and is shown on a large, outdoor movie screen with large speakers. Free to attend. Concessions will be available.

Sunset Music Series @ Weaver Park

Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, or blanket to watch the sunset from the shoreline and pier of Weaver Park while listening to some great live music. Presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation.

  • Sept 23: Pray For Rein (Country, Rock)
  • Sept 30: More is More (Classic Rock)

Concessions available. Kinney’s Kitchen will be selling hot dogs, burgers, Italian sausage, pulled pork sandwiches, cheese/fruit tray, fruit cups, candy, snacks, soda and water.

No alcohol or grills allowed in the park. 

Free limited parking – come early! Free bicycle valet service available at the event entrance/waterside.

Dunedin Christmas Parade & Old Fashion Christmas

Old Fashioned Christmas & Holiday Parade  Free to attend. Downtown Dunedin Street Parade …The parade kicks-off at 4:00 pm on Douglas Avenue with local dignitaries, decorated floats, bands, performers, and of course Santa Claus.   After the parade, Downtown Dunedin is transported back in time as old fashioned Christmas activities and entertainment and yes, even snow, are spread throughout downtown. Children, families and the young at heart can enjoy Clydesdale horse drawn carriage rides, Christmas caroling, festive bands, live music in Pioneer Park featuring “Late Night Brass,”  games, storytelling,  crafts, roast marshmallows to create gooey s’mores and slide down the “can’t miss” gigantic snow slides. To cap of this great event make sure to visit Santa Claus.
