Dunedin Community Garage Sale

Discover hidden treasures and great deals! Whether you’re hunting for bargains or looking to declutter, this is your chance to be a part of a fun-filled day with neighbors and treasure seekers alike.

Rent a spot for only $15. Stop by the Hale Senior Activity Center to rent a 10×10 space to sell your gently used items such as clothing, household items, jewelry, books, collectibles, sports equipment, and toys. Registration must be done in person in order to reserve and pick your spot. Fee is waived for non-profit organizations. Hurry in – spots fill fast!

Run for our Veterans and active-duty service members, bring awareness to the Dunedin VFW and American Legion, and help benefit teen volunteer groups. The course runs north along Pinellas Trail from Hale Senior Activity Center to San Salvador Dr.

Monsters & Mayhem Family Event

Expect eerie encounters and spine-chilling surprises because this event is not for the faint of heart! This immersive Halloween event creeps into the Dunedin Community Center on Saturday, October 25th from 6-9:00 pm with a night full of fright and fun. Dare to navigate a twisted trail of terrors, dance among the undead’s bone-rattling beats at a silent disco, and enjoy macabre munchies that will leave you howling for more.

Volunteers Needed – teens (ages 13+), adults, and non-profit groups are needed to help with each of the activities and may come dressed in costume. If interested, call 727-812-4530 or email DunedinRecreation@dunedin.gov.

Purple Heart Recognition Ceremony on National Purple Heart Day

National Purple Heart Day is observed on August 7 each year and is a time for Americans to remember and honor the brave men and women who represented our country and were either wounded on the battlefield, or paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.

Join the City of Dunedin in this special ceremony as we honor and pay tribute to all Veterans with special focus on Purple Heart recipients who have earned the military tribute by virtue of their bravery and sacrifice. This event is presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation.

Did you know? The Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department provides a special opportunity to pay tribute to a Purple Heart recipient through the Purple Heart Commemorative Brick Program. By completing the Commemorative Brick Program form(PDF, 139KB) and donating $100, you can have a brick engraved to commemorate a Purple Heart recipient which will then become a part of the “Walk of Honor” at Purple Heart Park.
