In early 2019, construction began on a newly renovated TD Ballpark and will continue to be home to the Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training and the Dunedin Blue Jays under a new 25-year lease agreement between the Blue Jays, the City of Dunedin, Pinellas County and the state of Florida. TD Ballpark hosted its first game on February 24, 2020 as the Toronto Blue Jays took on the Atlanta Braves.
