How to Participate: Secure your spot by making a $20 registration donation. All proceeds will directly benefit our local veterans through the VFW community outreach programs. Register on Eventbrite and print your ticket, affixing it to your windshield in advance. Ensure your Eventbrite receipt with the QR code is visible on your windshield for entry to the VFW parking/staging lot.
Contest & Prizes: Join the holiday fun by decorating your cart! Contest judging takes place in the staging area from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Winners will be announced on our Facebook page by 12/18/2023. To be eligible, make sure your registration is printed, affixed, and visible. Prizes include a fantastic prize pack from Dunedin Goes Carting and contributions from generous local businesses!
Parade Route: The route begins at VFW Post 2550 and concludes at Mease Manor (Orange Ave/Virginia St).
Event Schedule: 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Staging at VFW parking lot with music, food, drinks, and a surprise visit from Santa and Buddy the Elf! 7:30 PM: Carts begin to leave the VFW lot via Douglas Ave.
Reminders: No throwing items from carts or confetti cannons. Designate a sober driver for a safe and joyful celebration. Come enjoy the classic Christmas movie “Elf” under the stars for this Drive-In movie showing! The movie starts at dark, but come early for raffles, music, and a good parking spot! Tickets must be purchased in advance, in person at the Dunedin Community Center, for $12 a car. Bringing your own food is welcome but no alcohol will be permitted.
Join the Chabad of Pinellas County for a Chanukah Celebration in Pioneer Park. There will be a menorah lighting, DJ, light show, snacks, balloons, a dreidel man, and more! This free event is presented by the Chabad of Pinellas County, all are welcome!
Looking for an evening filled with joy, laughter, and creativity? All experience levels are welcome at Caledonia’s brewing holiday painting, and professional artists will be there to walk you through every step of the process. Not only will there be painting, but also a full menu of food and drinks! This is an adult only event, ages 21 and up. After the last performance, ooze your way over to the Barrel District/Huntley Ave where there will be specified golf cart parking, drink specials for our carting community, great music, and fun for all!
Join us at our 3rd Annual, family and pet fun-filled Halloween event, Pumpkin-Paw-Looza! This ghoulish event will feature our amazing staff in costume, free samples on pet treats, candy for the human children, and a savory treat for Fido…PUP-KIN spiced lattes!
We will be running numerous promotions and one day deals on all your pets’ favorite foods, treats, toys, and more for all departments-dog, cat, small animal, fish, reptile, and bird!
We will have a photographer on duty taking photos of all pets in costume for the day! Families and their pets in costume will be featured in our costume contest that the public votes for the week after the Halloween event is over! Winners will be chosen for best human/pet costume, best small dog costume, best large dog costume, and best family of pet costumes! It is free to enter the costume contest!
Customers who wish to bring in a pet donation benefitting Pinellas County Animal Services or a human non perishable item for Dunedin Cares Food Pantry, will go home with a pet themed SWAG BAG, as a thank you from us!
